I love walking round East park it get me out even in this pandemic! Just for a hours it's changed so much since I was a kid but I still enjoy it
As I get older I try to visit east park as often as possible, just lately daily, I slap on my headset and walk around the lake a few times whilst listening to a decent audio book. Currently its Rambo. I try get there in a morning when it isn't super busy inbetween the kids going to and leaving school. I try to cover 2/4 miles (a few times around the lake finishing up at the pavilion cafe for a hot chocolate). The fresh air and scenery makes for a relaxing walk whatever the weather.
Really lovely huge park with animals, lakes, swings, gardens, and outdoor pool and splash boat.
Lovely open space , well kept .my grandson loves feeding the birds
