We are currently being cared for by Debbie Read who is our Funeral Arranger. Although the service has not been carried out until next week, I just had to put some words down as just a thank you does not seem so much given to how much compassion and support Debbie has gave my Mum and myself. Debbie is very professional and so so so genuine. You can tell this is beyond more than a job for her. We were never rushed even at times we may have been lost for words and needed a cry. The service will take place in the new chapel and it is simply beautiful. I would more than recommend Co op Funeral Services, 89 Wimpole Road, Colchester, CO1 2DB.

Turned up on the off chance of arranging mums funeral. The receptionist despite dealing with one hundred other duties and families took details and rung upstairs only to be told no one available and the earliest appt be in weeks time to be fair despite phone call interruptions the receptionist made a booking provisional Staff rushed and seemed a lack of communicating as simple instructions not followed. And dealt with endless staff no one person to contact. Funeral proceeded well despite the service sheets hurriedly arriving at the crem.
We arrived at Wimpole Road not quite knowing what to expect, but no need to worry we were looked after so very well with all our wishes being met. This relationship continued for the whole time up to and including the day of the funeral where my dear mum was looked after with such respect and dignity. Special thanks to the lovely lady from the co op who stayed during the whole funeral service, and even stayed with us outside in the freezing cold, until we were ready to leave.
