Very successful bilateral carpal tunnel release surgery this year. Delighted to be pain free and able to live life to the full again. My sleep is undisturbed and I have regained full function in my hands. Mr. Harley is professional, kind, pleasant and reassuring. I appreciate his no nonsense approach. I have arthritis in my hands which has caused deformity of my fingers. About a year ago the ligament of my right ring finger became very lax which caused the finger to bend sideways at the joint. I had some hand therapy which did not work and was recommended to see Mr Harley. He operated on my finger and as it was not possible to repair the ligament, fused the joint. He did an excellent job and I am very pleased with the result - that finger is now my best-looking finger!

Throughout all the consultations and the surgery and after mr Harley is very honest and well educated and experienced in what he does and I trust him in what he says and does. Having had excellent help and treatment from Peter Magnusson in the past (he has now retired) at the Royal Surrey Hospital, I had no knowledge of Oliver Harley or the Epsom Hospital until quite recently. So I was just delighted to have such expert help, and the friendly manner of Mr Harley, who not only sorted out my trigger finger very successfully, but has gone on to discuss options for treating my painfully arthritic wrist. Although the treatment is only under discussion at this stage, I have absolutely confidence in Mr Harley's expertise, and find his helpful manner and detailed description of what is wrong and what can be done to be one of the most helpful consultations I can remember at any hospital.
