Kingscote Estate Reviews | Rating 4.7 out of 5 stars (5 reviews)

Kingscote Estate is located in East Grinstead, United Kingdom on Farm Mill Cl, Vowels Ln. Kingscote Estate is rated 4.7 out of 5 in the category vineyard in United Kingdom. Kingscote Estate is a Vineyard and Wine Estate in West Sussex, close to East Grinstead, located in the Kingscote Valley between the historic Bluebell steam railway and the Weirwood reservoir. It offers wine tours, corporate hospitality and events, country pursuits such as shooting, fishing and truffle hunting and a cookery school. On site there is a visitor centre, which is a 15th century tithe barn, brought piece by piece from its original location in Kent and a shop selling our own wines and a selection of the finest English sparkling wines and great food. Currently we produce three white wines - the Bacchus, Bacchus Chardonnay and the Fat Fumé. An English sparkling wine will be joining these three very soon. These can all be ordered via our Website, through local shops or bought at the cellar door in our shop. We also make a high-quality cider produced from the Estate's own orchard using the 'Champagne' method. The vineyard is formed from part of the original estate created by renowned Victorian gardener, William Robinson, the other half now belonging to our neighbours Gravetye Manor, a Michelin-starred hotel and restaurant.

A Great time out Tasting and Tour followed by a Cream Tea. The setting is pure country with the Bluebell Railway passing alongside. As a previous Xmas Gift this was our very first Vineyard Tour and what a fun day! In our 70's and Tasting,Nosing and Sipping real wine in the middle of nowhere. Our Guide Vicky was brilliant and can only be described as a : Taste of extensive knowledge. with a fruity Bouquet and a sweet Afterbite of humour...... What a great day!

Started with a 4 mile walk around this area. A very pleasant afternoon spent wine tasting with our own selected locally sourced cheese board. Followed by coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Been here a few times it's such a lovely place and so chilled I love the walks they have. It's nice to just walk around and then go get a cream tea and relax in the garden. The tour is ok if you are really into your wine and want to know how it's made.

Gorgeous Vineyard, lovely staff, tour was very interesting. Had lunch and the food was good, was a little surprised lunch didn't come with a glass of wine but the wine we had was spectacular, ended up buying a few bottles! Highly recommend
