Dr Khandwala performed surgery on my daughter during the corona crisis, we are extremely grateful to him, his medical team and secretary Sue Kendrick for their considerable professionalism in the way they manage my daughters treatment.
I am glad I didn't read the one and only other review otherwise I would not have placed my health and wellbeing in Mr Khandwala's more than capable hands. I found his humour made me more comfortable during the consultations and when I actually had my operation. In fact when I first saw him he initially advised me against surgery until I had brought my weight under control. He was very frank about the fact if he did an operation at that stage, I would not have got the satisfactory result that I have now. I found him to very personable, a delight to talk to and I would happily recommend him to any of my friends.
I went to Dr Khandwala for Rhinoplasty. He is an amazing plastic surgeon. He explained the procedure explaining what was possible to achieve and what was not. The procedure was not a straight forward rhinoplasty I needed a couple of tweaks. I had the procedure at the McIndoe Centre in September 2018. The end result is fantastic it is life changing. I would recommend Dr Khandawala 100%. He makes you feel totally at ease and also has a good sense of humour. My new nose looks amazing.
Disappointed and rather embarrassed. I was reccomended to Mr Khandwala from a nurse via a consultation. During my consultation with Mr Khandwala, he laughed when I was speaking about I feel and made me feel very uncomfortable in his care. I’m usually a people person, so to feel this way is very worrying and makes me wonder if he grasps the emotive needs towards a possible patient. As well as a very awkward and unprofessional consultation (priced at around 180 for maybe 15 minutes). He proceeded to show me his work including before and afters, I wasn’t entirely amazed, and to be honest, it was a poor portfolio of outdated images with little difference. His skills compared to other surgeons are not as great. I feel like I was compelled to listen to his narrative by ways of him interrupting. My overall reccomendation is to avoid Dr Asit Khandawala at Spire Gatwick Park. I’m glad I experienced this first hand and can give a truthful review to all possible clients. There was other consultants available while being more than willing to listen. Note: Mr Khandawala practise at other surgeries so I will review other practices so the public knows.
