Driving up the place is just massive, which is quite impressive. When you walk in everything looks very eloquent and a little higher end. We entered through the banquet area which reminded me of a nice place to have a wedding or special event. After we were seating it felt a lot more like a nice cafeteria. I started off with a plate of meat, I figured for the price I'm paying I should get something besides filler, right? The cuts they give you are thin so it's difficult to get a steak cooked anything but well done. On top of this my food was not hot when I started eat it. I will say the meat did task good, and was fairly tender for how thin it was. Other proteins I tried were the Crab Cakes and Cajun Cat Fish. All of those were good, but not great. The cat fish was the winner out of all of them. I tried a few sides that were decent, but the only thing worth mentioning from this category is the perogies. These were the star of the evening, which is a little disappointing in itself. At this point I was pretty full, but I figured I problem should shovel some more down the hatch for the price I paid. When I arrived at the dessert area I was just disappointed, nothing really stood out to me that looked good. There were a lot of plates of cakes that looked like something you'd get at a kids birthday party. In the end it seemed like the food was decently good, but not worth the admittance.

What an Amazing experience in Amish Country. This Smorgasbord has Social Distancing Dining expertise. There are stations set up were you sanitizer your hands,, dry and put gloves on every time you return for another helping.. Salmon, crab cakes, steak and I'll stop there I don't want to ruin your surprise.. Tucked in between beautiful mountain scenery in Pennsylvania you will relish in all that they offer. This is not just one of the Best Smorgasbord I've eaten at it is way more than. Start with the history of the family and meander through the halls and marvel at the hand painted 3/4 D hand painted and carved paintings on the walls. I've never seen anything like it. They have a huge gift shop downstairs (I mean HUGE) with some of the most unique items around. It's like 50 Cracker Barrel gift shops in one. They also have an amazing market in their complex and save that for last. Take pictures and be sure to go Antiquing in the surroundings area. Wait till see all the Horse and Buggies (Totally Amazing)

Buffet quality is pretty good, great varied selection. Was happy to see the pineapple bread pudding is back!! Only issue was we (2 of us) got seated right behind condiments bar, no shield of any kind between our booth and that area. Patrons are not 6 ft away! Need divider! We asked hostess If we could move to an booth in a safer location, which was no problem. Also, too many patrons up at buffet at one time. A woman in a nearby booth did not wear a mask to go up to the buffet. Then later we noticed her husband was not wearing one either. Apparently management didn't enforce it for them. This did not make me feel too comfortable, especially at a buffet.

Good food , worth the trip from scranton but it was a little packed for my liking right now and no one was social distancing. They were making everyone where gloves and masks when not at your table which was great. Will definitely try again.

Very clean facility. Pleasant staff. And above all else, VERY tasty food! COVID-19 has brought on challenges and I am glad you found a way to make things work! Oh and the gift shop is always a great place to pick up little (or big) gifts for loved ones.
