We are unbelievably impressed with our recent experience we had with East Bay. Due to COVID, we had to cancel our big wedding reception but chose to have a formal dinner at East Bay with a small number of family and friends. This was one of the best choices we made! From the very beginning Kelly, the event planner, was responsive and helpful with making everything come together. She answered all of our questions and was very organized. The night of our event was seamless and everyone had the best time. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and provided excellent service. We absolutely loved our waitress, Cheryl K! The food was amazing, and they did their very best to ensure our event felt special even with all of the COVID restrictions in place. We would highly recommend East Bay for any special event.

Lisa A provided excellent service, most of the dishes we got asian flare to it, which is excellent. Food is delicious, the rice risotto was ok, fish taco is avg... should prob which it to grill shrimp, as the fish has the frozen fish texture...price is reasonable compare to the ingredients and meat in the dish, Parking situation can be a little confusing, I had made eye contact with the parking attendants that manage the cone off parking spot kind of just ignore my eye contact (not a big deal) So we end up parking on the st instead. Checking it and reserving table on the spot was easy, love the reserve alert text message systems, u can text to respond or cancel, which u don’t have to sit and wait around. Overall great service and food, highly recommended this place, the only area of improvement is the parking attendants, which is to be more alert to a new customer who is not familiar with the parking system. Never ask me if I’m coming to the restaurant or not at all. (Not a big deal) other then that the parking seem to have the parking and traffic under control.

Clam chowder was yummy but extremely thick. Seafood Kristofer was too dry due to the sauce being so thick you couldn't taste the seafood in the dish. Staff was very helpful and nice.

My poor review is not a reflection of the food quality or food/beverage service. It is a direct reflection of how we were treated by the bartender/server while visiting on Monday, February 15, 2021. The food and drinks were outstanding as per usual. East Bay Grille--prior to my most recent visit--had been one of my favorite seafood restaurants to visit in all of Plymouth. I live in the Taunton area and I have visited East Bay well over a dozen times and have referred numerous friends and family to visit. The bartender/server started to hound us about hitting the 90 minute dining mark due to Covid restrictions. However, the restaurant was well under capacity and there were empty tables around the bar, therefore, we were not preventing other patrons from enjoying a table top next to the bar. We simply wanted to continue enjoying our dining experience with drinks. We hit the 2-hour mark and asked to put in for one more appetizer before departing. They refused our order and told us our time had expired. This is the first restaurant, given the aforementioned conditions of excess and available capacity, whereby I have been refused service due to the Covid time restriction. We simply wanted to give them more of our business. This woman did NOT look at or value our patronage in the context articulated above. East Bay Grille will NEVER receive another visit from me again. I will gladly spend my money at other restaurants where they appreciate my business and patronage. I cannot emphasize how disappointed I am by this poor experience. By the way, our tab was over 120.

Was in the mood for some creamy seafood dishes so we visited this place on our way back to Boston. We were seated immediately after coming in but we had to wait 15 minutes for our server to come in. The staff otherwise seemed very cold. Did not feel welcome at all and they pretty much snubbed us the entire time. The 2 stars are only for the food. Their clam chowder was amazing, and their rolls with creamy butter of course. The seafood kristopher tasted good but the scallops and shrimp in it were horribly over cooked and rubbery. I’d have come back for the ambience and the menu but their servers - no thanks.
