A wonderful little place with plenty of seating options inside and outside. Very friendly staff and a good menu with good English food. Loved it, the tea pot was very large which was very nice. Beautiful setting in the countryside also.

Love love love. Beautiful setting, even in the rain! We had afternoon tea, accompanied by 3 rather demanding young children. Thank you to the staff and other customers for putting up with us! Food was just gorgeous, and we even had to take some home because there was so much. Please support your local business and visit!

Jason is the quintessential mine host, nothing is too much trouble, he is very amenable, professional, and makes you feel that you are an essential part of the prevailing atmosphere at the tea rooms. Service and fayre first-class, well done Jason and team

my husband and I were treated to afternoon tea by family for Christmas. We booked in (essential as they often have group bookings and there are only 30 seats). It is a nice setting and the staff were very friendly. The quality and variety on offer was excellent. This type of dining is surprisngly filling, so the waitress offered tin foil to take things home -which was a nice touch. Would have liked the option of cream instead of just milk for my coffee -I sort of expected it -probably all that healthy eating stuff the government is forcing on us now....apart from that,it was lovely. A leaflet I picked up said that they do childresn afternoon tea parties too (from 8 each) brilliant idea
