Only been once myself but have taxied others who have been there. Never heard a bad report about it and my own experience was also good. Wide selection of dishes, pleasant surroundings and atmosphere and reasonable prices. Worth a visit once we are allowed out again!

Most stuff I ate I can't remember their names but they were nice and delicious. I would highly recommend this place. So many different tastes to try for.
The dine at home box is great. Perfect for two people. Definitely worth the price
The takeaway meal is fantastic. All the quality of eating at the restaurant. We had the Christmas Eve menu. A real treat.
There are many Tapas restaurant around Halifax and the surrounding areas but the ENGINE beats them all. From the friendly staff to the unbelievable food. The portions you get a more than enough for one person and the surf and turf is amazing, the prawns are so juicy and please please try the chicken & sweetcorn pakoras(sorry if I have spelt that wrong). What surprised me the most was the bill, after about 6 or 7 different plates of food 2 alcoholic drinks, 1 soft drink and 2 coffees to go with our out of this world pudding it was under 80. Please if you fancy a cost modern place to eat and some amazing food give the ENGINE a try, you will not regret it.
