In April 2016, I booked a room for the first week of June 2016 for a student. It was a great location and a great price, for what we needed. Most importantly, it was near where the student needed to be. In May, the owner emailed me that he had cancelled the reservation, but re-booked in his brother's pension, also in Düren. When I called the owner, he said that a bigger client had extended their stay, so he "had to" cancel my reservation and that he re-booked "out of courtesy." The student made her way to the very distant, out-of-the-way "pension" owned by the owner's brother, and found herself in a private home owned by heavy smokers, with long (human?) hairs in the bedding. I visited and confirmed this information. Upon my email, the owner of the original location provided a room to my student after the "more important" customer had left. I don't know in what context this sort of thing is acceptable, but be warned: if you're not a big customer, Peterhoff will cancel on you at a moment's notice. DO NOT take him up on his offer of a room at Viandener Strasse 8.

Sehr unsauber und schmuddelig. Betten unsauber. Ebenfalls finde ich die Reaktionen auf meiner Meinung nach sehr gerechtfertigte schlechte Bewertungen, nicht akzeptabel, da es sich hierbei um Vertuschung von Tatsachen handelt. Edit: Aufgrund der zu erwartenden Antwort, möchte ich nochmal auf die Bilder verweisen, welche beigefügt wurden.

Ladies on Top - Frauen an der Spitze

Sehr schönes Gästehaus, sauber und ruhig gelegen. Hier bekommt man ein 4 Sterne Zimmer zum Preis einer Jugendberge. Der Eigentümer ist sehr charmant und immer für seine Gäste da. Gerne werde ich beim nächsten Mal wieder hier übernachten.

Gut das es nur eine Nacht war. Sehr schmutzig Bett voll mit Haaren. Gardine teilweise angeschimmelt. Kaffeemaschine nicht zumutbar Küche Geschirr sehr dreckig. Das Bad ging gar nicht

Leider sehr dreckig hier. Man kommt rein und es riecht sehr unangenehm im ganzen Haus. Die Bäder sind dreckig Haare im Waschbecken Toilette würde bestimmt noch nie geputzt. Die Zimmer... Schrecklich! In meinem Bett waren Haare und schuppen. Die Gardinen sind mit 5cm Staub bedeckt und teilweise angeschimmelt der Boden hat weiße Flecken und die Wände sind fleckig. Die Küche ist ein Albtraum... Es stand dreckige Geschirr im Schrank der Kühlschrank ist gammelig und die Elektrogeräte sau dreckig. Es ist nicht zumutbar
