Awesome pub in the woods, great access point for the Dwingelderveld nature conservation area. Good food, play area for the kids, fantastic atmosphere with wood fires on cold days (both inside and outside).

The service was friendly, quick and efficient. The food we ordered was quite good and the amount was just right. Not to much not too little. The price is a little on the high side. But the location.. Is wonderful! They've been very busy with renovating and it looks great inside and out. Also the Bospub is dog friendly.
Atmosphere great. Good selections of beer. Kids play outside in playground or the woods. Was here last summer as well by bike. Also great on the terrace.
This is a wonderful place tucked away in the woods. The food was good and the server was patient with us, as we do not speak Dutch. We did not realize they do not take credit cards (at least not our American cards). They allowed us to come back and pay. We are eternally grateful for this.
First day open during COVID19. Fantastic meal, service, air!
