Great beautiful place to visit and walk
Descend to the weir down the side of the road bridge on Myles Standish Way just before the Bolton Road traffic lights. Note that the side with the broken down style is far steeper than crossing the bridge and hopping over the barrier.

Can make a good waterfall / weir photo , but need to go back in the winter when there will be less foliage. I have added a further shot taken in early December. A little less foliage now. I hope to go back in February and get another ,maybe some snow on the ground. Now added a shot (January) where there was some snow.
