Nice place to buy Dutch souvenirs and also to spend a morning painting your own wooden shoes. They are very kind, offer you a coffee while painting. Nice also for kids.

We dropped by this location during our trip to Holland. Despite the fact that the website claimed they offered tours on Saturday, when we showed up we where told that there where no tours/demonstration available.. The owner was there and said that if we where going to buy something he would make a set of clog so we could see.. GREAT! very nice offer.. we picked out a set of clogs and a few other small gifts for family back home. Meanwhile it seems a friend of his came into the shop so he was talking to him... we waited at the counter for about 10 minutes, our shopping on the table and my wife holding 50 Euro bill in her hand.. He completely ignored us. My wife made eye contact with him several time but we where completely ignored. I can only guess that he felt that the items we wanted to by where not enough for him to bother breaking off his conversation with his friend. We finally gave up, left our items on the front counter and wondered out the door... He did not say a word, I guess he was glad to see us leave. In all my life I have never had worse service or been made to feel so unwelcome. Good thing wooden clogs are not hard to come by in Holland. My advice is to pass on this location.. I am sure there are many other businesses that actually would like to have some tourists visit there shops.
Touristic place, paintyour own wooden shoes
Een grote klompenmakerij in Dussen gelegen. Rolstoelvriendelijk, mega veel keus uit allerlei klompen en heel veel souvenirs. Prijzen zijn schappelijk voor dit kwaliteitsproduct. Daarnaast zijn er ook arrangementen te regelen, van koffiedrinken en klompendemonstratie, tot klompenbeschilderen etc. Een echte aanrader. Er is trouwens genoeg plaats ook volgens de nieuwe norm van de Corona regels.
Leuke winkel met mogelijkheden voor workshops en (kinder)feestjes. Mooie demonstraties worden er gegeven.
