Our VA staff is awesome! I truly appreciate them and understand that you cannot please everyone. I am seen there often and always leave thinking that I received the best care possible. Great place for veterans. Workload for staff seems too much though. Long wait line and shortage of staffing. But it's always good to see a place serving veterans.
I had my Covid shot today at the Durham vA hospital. I was prepared for long wait times, long lins, “hurry up and wait” . Much to my surprise, the experience was quite the opposite! I was greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable staff at every turn; ushered efficiently through the maze of hallways,;administered the shot, seated to wait 15 minutes, and instructed to return on the 28th for my 2nd shot.The entire process took less than 30 minutes!! I cannot express how completely different my experience was than what I expected. Friendliness, efficiency, professionalism, and more friendliness were around every corner. I would like to tell a story of the most courteous, most cordial, most attentive to patient, clinic you will find in the veterans medical center anywhere. These people always smile, all ways have a friendly greeting as well as doing their job to the best possible degree. Who are these pros, they are the pharmacist of the anti-cogulation clinic. If everyone in the hospital were 1/10th as professional as these people, it would be a better hospital. THANKS TO ALL IN THE CLINIC FOR BEING APART OF THE VA, and if I could I would give a giant raise in pay to you all.
