Magical, and unique place. The beach itself is beautiful and it looks like a small paradise...(plus i like that almost all beach covered in gravel like stuff instead of usual sand) if you want some unique attractions? So there is a local boat \u200d️ trip which can take you behind durdle door so you can see everything interested from other perspective and boat itself have a live historic guide which will tell you all local history. A must see place! I highly recommend it! It will not let you down :) verdict - 9/10

I found myself mistaking this wondrous place for a tropical island before I discovered it was in the UK! The experience of visiting here is magnificent and will not disappoint you! Read further for advice and recommendations: My recommendations for the trip would be to pack lightly, as from the main car park there is a lot of walking to do. This does involve very steep slopes, with not much grip. Be sure to make a toilet trip beforehand, there is nowhere to go on the beach and it's not a quick trip back and forth from the car park! Another key thing to mention would be that the car park is made of a very fine, chalky gravel. I would recommend keeping your doors and windows shut when there, as it could blow into the vehicle. I must also profess, there is no wheelchair or disability access, to my knowledge. However, there are towns and areas nearby the main attraction where you may still be able to get a glimpse.

A fun adventure filled hike. It’s a short but very steep hike down to the Durdle Door area but if you go slow kids and older folks can make it easily. Give them words of encouragement on the way back up or promise to purchase a treat at the coffee shop. There are many beautiful cliffs, ocean views, and photo opportunities along this stretch of coast. I highly recommend taking the additional steps down to the beach so you can every close up. You can walk along beach quite far to see chalk cliff, caves, and other rock formations. Our kids loved exploring this area and taking selfies. Parking is a good price and there are toilets close by.

This place is BEAUTIFUL! Definitely recommend! We got there about 4pm it was a 3 &1/2 hour journey from Birmingham so by the time we got there was slightly busy, however the further you walk the less people there are. Had to park up and walk about 20 mins but the views from the cliff is worth the walk it’s breathtaking! Rocks were the cons of coming here but the further down TOU go the less rocks there are. Will definitely be coming back here when it’s not so busy. It’s worth the journey if you live far compared to local beaches which are always packed and not as pretty lol

Beautiful walk with the kids along the jurassic coast. Great photo opportunities on the clifftop of Durdle door. My 10yr old and 4 year old then followed me down the steep steps to the bay where we all had a delightful swim in crystal clear water.
