Some nice old ships, and a fantastic oyster festival once a year.
Normally for a ferry. I liked.
Got on a cruise from here to England in 1940. It was an amazing experience but there had been some rather rude German's heckling us from the shore back then.
Not bad. Well managed port but no facilities. Get food before you get there. Toilets were quite dirty when we went the last time.
Dunkirk is better placed as a ferry terminal than Calais as not so far from the Belgian border, but it's 2.2 km from the motorway and it's used by lots of freight vehicles, so busy. The biggest critism must be for the so called passenger terminal which must be the bleakest place on earth, as the \catering\ facilities consist of banks of vending machines with not a human in sight! Awful! Impersonal service from DFDS, passengers deserve more than this. Don't get stuck here!
Nice place to walk around
Staff more helpful than p&o .I've been early a few times not charged me not like p&o and the food is better no screening kids as the coaches take the shortest route.
