Stuart King went above and beyond for us! My family have been buying cars from Specialist for years, so I travelled from Edinburgh to Dunfermline to Specialist and I'm so glad I did. Stuart listened to what my needs were (motorway driving, city parking, budget etc) and found me the perfect car within a week. He was quick to answer all of the questions that I had and I really appreciated the personalised videos of the car that he sent me. I have been really well looked after from the first time I stepped in the door, to a week after buying my new car. It was also very easy with all the forms/payment being online, so on the day there was no stress at all. Dreadful experience, The car we purchased was not there on the day we thought we were picking it up (after cancelling the insurance on our trade in and taking out a new policy). The dealership didn’t have the car we purchased, they had lent it out to the NHS, nobody even contacted us to tell us the situation, you have to do the chasing. Even after they agreed to get a replacement car from another branch they couldn’t tell us when it would arrive, or any detail, when the Salesman you are dealing with is off the dealership failed to help with any requests, don’t return calls, don’t listen to your preferred communications i.e. please don’t e-mail office after hours, phone me instead or you will get an “Out of office” reply. The Customer Service and complaints dept. is shocking, they point you back to sales.We are happy to get our deposit back and go to a dealership that have stock (to sell) and have stock sheets that get updated when vehicles are not on site, Basic stuff really.
