Very professional and dedicated estate agency when listing a property for sale and managing a rented property. Certainly one of the best in Dundee and a great UK wide reputation. Would highly recommend.

I'm currently living in a flat rented from Martin & C.o. From the very beginning people I've contacted (David and Ian) have been extremely polite, helpful and problem-fixing orientated. They helped me and my partner get the necessary documentation done, they patiently fixed all of minor problems we've had with the flat (there were no big ones, what's worth mentioning). As long as you keep your bills settled & tend to treat flat at it is your own - you can expect absolutely flawless treatment from the agency. They seems to care about the flat as much as you do and they try to keep it just perfect for both, tenant and landlord. Fully recommended!

I was a tenant at a Martin and Co property for 6 months and was extremely unimpressed with the service throughout. The lack of communication was very unprofessional. Any queries or issues with the flat would have to be raised and then chased 2 or 3 times before getting a reply. On more than one occasion after speaking to agents in the office I was given incorrect information regarding the tenancy which led to social and financial problems for myself and my flat mates. When it came to leaving the tenancy Martin and Co once again made this difficult by giving very vague and misleading information on ending the tenancy, and taking weeks to respond to my request for more detail. After exhausting Martin and Co’s internal complaints process they twisted the truth to relieve themselves of any responsibility and showed zero sympathy for putting me in a terrible situation. Every time I was given false information it was in a verbal encounter in the office. For this reason the Property Ombudsman would not take on my complaint as I had no written evidence. I encourage anyone looking to begin a tenancy to explore all other options before going to Martin and Co as you will be met with an unprofessional service, lied to, and treated with zero respect.
