i am a builder and i work with suppliers for different products all the time but i have never seen anything like this. i ordered windows for two different project and they both were ordered wrong. the lather one was for an old couple bathroom window which we were told will be done in three weeks. it cam 5 weeks later and it was wrong. then it took more then 3 months to actually get the right window. in the mind time my customers did not have a use of a bathroom since they have only one. I asked the manager Robin at Duncan BC outfit to compensate the couple but she was not interested and basically told me never to call them again. We didn't do anything wrong. We paid what they wanted but we never got the service or the right product. i will never go back to this place and i encourage you to do the same. jivko

We purchased Milgard windows and doors from SB for our new home. Expensive but beautiful however we found the salesperson rather flippant and almost arrogant. One pair of exterior wooden doors to our deck from our dining room soon separated from weathering and were replaced at no cost to us by our builder however the next set also separated. We then were informed by SB we should have weather-proof exterior doors in that exposed location so we ordered those and had them installed at significant cost to us. We wish SB would have sent out one of their staff to our new house build to assess our needs in the first place with such a large order of doors. This would have saved considerable waste and expense. We also wish now that we had sought out custom made Canadian made windows and doors.
Got beautiful huge doors for a new build for the best price. Thank you guys! The customer service was fantastic.
Gave my wife a price for two windows. Got to the store to pick them up and was told the price was for only one window. The installers are coming tomorrow so had no choice but to pay. Will never use this store again.
We asked for windows that would qualify for the government rebate (specific rating for keeping heat in) and after spending 18K found we didn't qualify AND many of our windows collect condensation along the lower 1/4 of the indoor panes. We are so disappointed knowing that much of our heat is escaping out the windows. We had to spend another 11K for cellular blinds to help keep heat in our house. Be careful what you order, don't trust that you are getting the correct product. We also had to wait a number of months as the first order of windows were measured incorrectly and they had to order new windows. Bad experience all around.
