This was our family second weekend in a row to go rafting. Each time was different and fun. Very relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner Mrs. Kay is awesome. We love this place and planning to make this our local weekend getaway spot .

River water is cold, so you must go when it is HOT. Very relaxing at times, but sound carries over water and if there are rowdy groups even hundreds of yards away, you will hear them like they are 2 feet away. Highly recommend paddle for single tubes to make steering and propulsion easier as you will need to do some navigation to avoid fallen trees/branches on both sides as well as the center. Definitely recommend rafts for larger people as tubes are smaller than you think - pick something comfortable because the short trip is 2 hours. Front office will hold car keys and ID on your trip, but you will need a waterproof case for wallets and phones if you want to bring them with you. Overall, a decent time, but do your best to head out earlier in the day.
THIS IS A ‘MUST DO’ SUMMER ACTIVITY! The price was cheap and they even have sunglasses and sunscreen for sale, among a handful of other helpful items, which came in handy since a couple people in my party forgot to bring their sunglasses and sunscreen. The tubes were comfortable which made for a very enjoyable time on a Saturday afternoon. They provided transportation back to the parking lot so we didn’t have to worry about the parking situation at all! Very nice and professional staff. They were very helpful with any and all questions my party had. They were very knowledgeable about the river as well. Considering how cheap this was of an activity, I will definitely be doing this again and again and again this summer. Great way to spend a hot summer afternoon!
Very slow current, but fun and safe for entire family. Water was COLD but felt great after the first 20 minutes with the sun beating on you. They charge for tethers to tie rafts together, but you could easily bring your own rope or cord. Great deal for only 10 a person which includes a regular open donut style raft, life jacket, and shuttle to and from the river. Extra charge for closed bottom raft (good for smaller kids or to hold drinks or towels), tethers, or paddles. Total time was about 2 hours. Beautiful scenery and well worth it!
Great time. It's take strategy if you are connecting you tubes together,and floating down the river. We have avoid obstacles along the way. Great family experience.
