Probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Really good quality food at a reasonable price. Staff were friendly and menu was great. Really impressed.

Super good! Lovely food, great service and beautiful decor. The fish stew is a must-have. You can just taste the freshness of the fish. We ordered the daily special, sea bass and pork belly. Fabulous! The pork was cooked perfectly and the sea bass was so fresh and tasty. The beef cheek was recommended and we loved the texture. But we thought it could be a bit more flavourful. The dessert was sooo good. Please try the ice cream. We had ginger stem and white chocolate flavours.
We went to this restaurant after our long hike to Old Man of Storr for a quick lunch. The staff was warm with necessary protective masks We were quickly offered a table which was nice. We ordered risotto, hallumi skewers and onion rings. Food was nice, fresh with good quantity. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice meal.
My wife and I had a couple of dinners at Dulse & Brose last week during our stay in Portree. Staff are really friendly and we enjoyed the vibe - it gets busy so be sure to book well in advance. Location is easy to find, and it was a short stroll from there to our hotel (Marmalade). The food itself was tasty, good options and we enjoyed both our meals there. The whisky collection is rather extensive so you have plenty of options for a nightcap!
Outstanding service and food, I cannot wait to come all the way across the world again for this amazing experience once more. Everything was excellent, and we felt like the staff really cared about out time at the restaurant. Drinks at the pub after were great too, large selection of whisky and beers. 100% recommend, one of our highlights in Portree.
