The dine in is open again that made our experience so much better. Great food. Masks were worn and a glove provided to persons going through the line.

Oh I having been wanting dukes for awhile now and I decided to treat myself to it and as I tasted my baked beans it was awesome and so was the corn and the hash and rice was still great but the pulled pork was a below average it had burned pieces in it and most of the meat I had to throw away now for the 9 it cost for a large plate is was definitely a good price but it you want the best flavor out of their meat go when they first open

Love fresh pulled BBQ. Wasn't the sauce I remember from years ago, but was still good. We were visiting from out of town. I used to live in the Charleston area.
Invited by a friend, the food was good, and the staff was friendly. But I was DEEPLY saddened by the EXCESSIVE use of styrofoam cups, styrofoam plates, and plastic utensils!!! For their complete and utter disregard for human health, the filthy pollution of our planet, and the senseless destruction of wildlife, I have to give Duke's BBQ in Ridgeville an EPIC FAIL!!! These petroleum products are illegal in most other developed nations due to the overwhelming evidence that they cause cancer. And if humans don't make a drastic change in our consumption of single use plastic products, it is estimated that by the year 2050 there will be more plastic waste in our oceans than there are fish!!! Here are a few facts: How_Styrofoam_is_Bad_for_the_Environment. Obviously, Duke's makes no attempt to recycle any of these products, as guests are expected to dump everything until huge trash bins in the middle of the room. And the worst part was, when I went back for seconds, they insisted I use a NEW plate! Apparently it's a DHEC requirement. Srriously?!? So now we're doubling the amount of plastic pollution heading to our landfills and oceans!!! Apparently DHEC needs to talk to the EPA. :-( Easy solution, PLEASE SWITCH TO PAPER!!! It's recyclable and bio degradable. Or better yet, use real plates and silverware. Dish-washers are cheap to hire and easy to find. You'll be giving someone a job, helping your loyal patrons stay cancer-free, and saving the planet at the same time. It's a win-win-win!!!
