Lovely food, great quality. Went for Sunday roast and portions were generous. We were a party of 4 and all of us really enjoyed our visit. Staff were great too. Thank you, we will definitely return.

Absolutely amazing!!!! Portion sizes are incredible so we weren't able to manage dessert. Brilliant social distancing measures in place so felt very safe. Staff are really friendly and efficient.
You will be assured at the genuinely warm and attentive staff (I was, that’s why I took my Mum here the week after I first visited). The look and feel of the Duke of Wellington is heritage and hearty. The food matches this and is well worth the money. This is not bull, The Duke is worth it after Lockdown 2 ends.
Since moving to Stanwick in the early 90's the Duke of Wellington has seen many owners. But its current owners have really put this country pub back on the map. Its up there with some of the best establishments that I have visited throughout the UK. The welcoming staff, the service and the food are second to none. So whether you visit for a quick pint or a meal for 2 or even a group, you won't be disappointed! I'm proud to call this my local.
