Visited on Wednesday 26th August. Booked a table and had a meal for 4. Table was made ready early and wiped down for us. Three varieties of local real ale and the one beer I chose was awesome. I am a CAMRA member and generally rate their choices in this pub. Place was busy but not crowded and there was no delay in getting drinks and food. We all enjoyed our meals and they were great value (doubly so for the govt supported discount). The pub is continuing a 25% off during September (maybe just on the Monday to Wednesday, not sure). Staff were polite and helpful.

Fantastic food drink and staff We had a sharer platter which was so tasty and huge We also had 2 mixed grills which were the best we've ever had ... the meat was excellent quality succulent and tasty and perfectly cooked...the portion sizes were generous ... the prices are excellent The bar gentleman even though he was rushed off his feet was welcoming and friendly Looking forward to visiting again
Nice little public house with very friendly staff very welcoming and nothing is to much trouble for them , We have visited about 4/5 times food has always been good and served hot , Varied menu to suit all tastes and very resonably priced with a good selection of beers wines and soft drinks all served in a relaxing and friendly enviroment , Keep up the good work.
Lovely lovely pub. Fab beer and great food.
