We stumbled upon this place while holidaying in France. It is a cider, wine, and Brandy making company so I'm not really sure what you call it. Anyway it was just us nobody else so they showed us a video of how long this place has been running, I think 3rd generation so it has been a long time. After this they said you can go and wander through the orchards and when you get to the end of the field turn left and you will see the cider making part. This we did and in the sunshine was very pleasant indeed. Once at the cider making unfortunately it was the wrong time of the year to see it in action but the workers who were there explained how everything worked. Most interesting even though I could only pick up the occasional word. Once we finished this it was off to the tasting. We tasted all sorts of Apple wines, ciders, and the best bit was the brandy for me. Only little sips mine you. All this for 5 euros each, wonderful. Needless to say we bought some fizzy wine and a couple of bottles of brandy. Lovely afternoon and totally unexpected.

A DIY tour around the cidrerie and a video explaining the process. Tastings of all you can buy in the shop from a friendly staff.

A fantastic morning out with the propriétaire who spent three hours showing us around and explaining the processes involved in making the various types of cidre, calvados and pommeau and then let us taste many of them. The prices in the shop are very reasonable and there are other local products available too. The fascinating video which starts the 'tour' is in French but has subtitles in English for those that don't speak any French. The 'tour' was in French but the propriétaire speaks very clearly and slowly and speaks good English if necessary. Well worth a visit, especially if you want to take something home (we did some of our Christmas shopping there!!)

Very nice owner who was there alone and thus let us walk the area after showing us a very informative intro video. This is a fairly large operation and they have a highly automated process. The cider was delicious and the prices are unbeatable at the gift shop.

This is a must to see cider calados made as it would have always been with just a few upgrades for the 21st century
