The monorail gives you a great opportunity to see the entire Palm from beginning to end, it is nice and cool and clean. The only disadvantage it has is that once you arrive back on the mainland, further transport is not clear or extremely expensive and so we ended up standing in the blazing sun waiting for a bus. We took the monorail into Palm Jumeirah, as our concierge recommended that it would be the best way to see the Palm Jumeirah. Indeed it was a nice way to have a look at the peninsula, since all our tours had been cancelled due to Covid-19. You can have a good view of the Atlantis Hotel too from the monorail.

Good one time ride. You can get view of The Atlantis, The Pointe and water park. Price is slightly higher and feels less worthy but just an experience to add on your list.

One of my journeys was packed with groups tourists, they push around in order to get a nice spot for photo, better to wait to next train if you found there are a group on the platform. And even multiple people mentioned here that the place do not take credit card, but in this world most visitor travel with credit card, why not accept credit card? And the ticket machine only sell one way ticket, return ticket must be purchased via the ticket office which may need to queue. And once inside the Atlantis, if you are not the hotel guest nor not interested in the water park and aquarium, then it is not much to see there except the boardwalk, the monorail alone do not worth the money.

Monorail running from Gateway to Atlantis in Palm Jumairah Island, Dubai, UAE, fully automated taking 10 minutes from gateway to Atlantis in between 3 stoppages are there, nice view of iland can be seen from monorail.

It's cheaper to use a private taxi - so only use for the view of the palm

You should take the monorail only for the view, the Palm island is beautiful form up there. It is probably more expensive than taking a taxy especially if you are not going alone. The only problem that i had was: it is hard to get there if you are not coming with a taxy and when i was coming home i was only able t find the more expensive white taxy amd that said that normal taxies can not enter the parking lot.
