I am beyond impressed with the standards of care at Drover's Call. Mum has been there for 2.5 years now and has late/advanced Alzheimer's, with sometimes difficult issues. Everyone, from the cleaners and laundry staff to the management treat her with the utmost respect, affection and kindness. They also treat us, as visiting family, with the same kindness, and with compassion/understanding for our situation. Staff are always cheerful and positive, which makes such a difference to the overall atmosphere. We used to visit 3 times a week; it's now 5 times a week since Mum has deteriorated, and we have always, from day one, been made to feel very welcome. On occasion, when my Dad has been very worried about Mum, he has turned up unannounced in the middle of the night to sit/sleep in her room, and the staff have invariably fussed over him and made him feel welcome. Everyone dealing with Mum has patience, compassion and attention to detail, and it's very clear that their interactions with Mum are entirely focused around what is best for her and what is most respectful to her.

Went to visit and look around on the 19th of March 2019. The home was very welcoming, fresh and clean. Everywhere in the home seemed busy with lots of energy and plenty of staff who genuinely seemed to care about their residents. A couple of residents approached me to let me know how much they enjoyed their time at the home and there was always lots of activities going off in the home, including an upcoming holiday. I was also allowed to sample the food being served for lunch. The quality, taste and portion size was brilliant and I would personally be more than happy if that was my daily food. Reassuring to see such devoted care, the home manager and wider team are doing a great job and I couldn't recommend them more.
What an absolute star of a place to be cared for. The staff are one big family who go above and beyond. Smells lovely and fresh, modern decoration, home cooked food that is outstanding. Would I recommend this place? most definitely.
Drovers Call is a modern, clean and friendly environment. Staff are always smiling and laughing and strive for excellent quality of care for all residents. Such an amazing place, couldn’t think of anywhere better to work.
My Father has lived at Drovers Call for the last 6 months and I am really happy with the care the home gives. I found that all members of the team are very attentive and willing to address any concerns that may occur .The home is extremely well run by management My father has recently been out to the cinema and is going on a holiday to Blackpool soon and is looking forward to the trip.
