I have a 32 year old XJS and (before finding Lee and Martin) went to several body shops who were hesitent about of carrying out the work. Lee Maar was then recommended to me and from the initial meeting I felt confident they could repair my Jag. It was a difficult task finding the right paint but Lee persevered and the match is perfect. During the work Lee also recommended other little details that have really helped lift the car. They have also professionally polished the Jag so it looks like new. I'm so pleased with the result and would have no hesitation in recommending these guys. Don't look anywhere else!
Recommended to me by a neighbour. What a delight to deal with this company. I was given a quote for a repair to my front bumper which I had scuffed against the garage wall. The price quoted was very reasonable and the quality of the repair was superb. There is no sign of any damage and the finish and workmanship is outstanding. Should I ever need any bodywork repairs in the future I will certainly use Lee Maar again and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone requiring bodywork repairs.
A good place. I was in a bit of a pickle with a failed MOT due to a damaged sill but Lee and Martin were able to sort it out quickly. Big relief! A friendly twosome who know their stuff and I’d certainly use them again.
Lee perfectly blends the lines of professional and personal. His quote was quick and efficient; he immediately picked up on issues that weren’t obviously apparent to the untrained eye - ie. mine. If a good job is to be done then this is the attention that you want so that there aren’t any surprises in store down the line. The work was completed far sooner than expected and easily both meets and exceeds my expectations. As for service - I was late to drop off due to the bank holiday. Then late to collect. But a second wash whilst I waited was no issue. Even though there would’ve been no need had I collected my truck on time. So to summarise. Friendly, honest and knowledgeable service. Nicely flexible. Top quality work. I’d happily recommend Lee Maar to anyone.
