Cute historical pub with big outdoor space offering great sandwiches, jacket potatoes, classic mains and...a great service! The staff wasn't fussy and actually advised me when I asked a swap of ingredients to accommodate my taste, and even helped me on some inconvenience I had earlier during my countryside walk! Pity I've visited only once, I would have happily tasted their beef & onion chutney... but I can vouch for pork roast and apples! Good local beers and ciders, and vegetarian options too. 100% recommended.

Quaint country pub serving traditional Devon cider and cream tea. Lovely suntrap at the front - sit and soak in the charm that is Devon.

Lovely pub in a quintessentially English village setting. Selection of well kept ales, very reasonable drinks prices and especially friendly service. Spot on!

Went for an evening meal to this lovely village Inn in Broadhembury in beautiful Devon. This is a bade 11 listed building completed in the 17th century,it was renovated in the 19th century.as most of the houses in this pretty little village it has a thatched roof and inside all the old original wooden beams. The staff make you feel very welcome and the food was very nice. For a small village Inn we were surprised how busy it was it’s nice to see a local pub supported by the villagers and visitors alike as it was our first look in as we like to try out different places to eat.It was a very enjoyable evening. This place is well worth a visit if you are in the area.
