Did a West End of Glasgow walking tour with Stuart and Hamish from Dreghorn Photography. This entailed visiting several locations/buildings all with different photographic challenges with Stuart explaining different techniques to capture the best image. He also gives you a historic background on the building you are visiting which is also very interesting. This is my third or fourth tour with Stuart and all have been an excellent experience.

A couple of years ago I had a one to one tutorial with Stuart. In my capacity as a tutor at City of Glasgow College Trade Union Education Centre I had be been asked, for the first time, to run a number of introductory courses on digital photography. In my session with Stuart we discussed in detail what I intended to cover and how. His support, advice and guidance were invaluable and gave me confidence in delivering my courses. As a tutor I appreciate the importance of learner engagement and this was clearly demonstrated in the way Stuart conducted our session
Stuart Dreghorn is an engaging teacher. The photography lecture was very informative tonight and I would recommend it to enthusiastic amateur photographers. There is a lot happening in this studio for education and photography events so worthwhile checking out the website.
