Ordered the full slab of ribs. They were the most over done I have ever seen. Beef jerky is easier to chew than those ribs. All the flavor cooked out of them. Maybe they are better on a busier night but they must have left these over the direct fire all day long. The French fries and loaf bread were great.

Not sure why all the low scores but I had a great experience during lunch hours on a Monday. Walking in you immediately get that smell of a true barbecue smokehouse type restaurant. I was immediately seated and ordered a very simple plate with two meats and two sides that was quickly served. I chose the ribs, sausage, baked beans and mac & cheese. The ribs had a great smoke ring and taste. They could've been just a tad more tender but overall they were very meaty and good. Lots of time sausage at a barbecue place can be on the spicy side, however this was not which I perfect. The sausage came already sliced it was very tasty. Both of the sides were spot on, the baked beans had a great smoky sweet taste that really hit the spot and the mac & cheese was just as you would expect, gooey cheesy goodness. Had a big glass of sweet tea to wash all this down and the tea was right on the money as well. Looking forward to going back to try the pulled pork on my next visit.
Dreamland BBQ may be some of the worst I’ve ever had the server we had was terrific & tried to do her best but when you have ants on the seats of the booth ants crawling on the table and into your food it’s not the kind of place you would want to frequent even if the food had been good spoke to the manager simply told me I guess I’m gonna have to close this booth. The manager proceeded to tell me if course wasn’t going to charge me that’s when I said thank you have a nice day. I realize this restaurant has been around for a long time I can remember when the building was a steakhouse restaurant for sizzler I ate there when they first opened I haven’t been back cents wasn’t overly impressed then and I’m definitely not impressed now no plans to return.
The food was okay I ordered the rib tips with mac and cheese and green beans as well as the fried okra. The fried okra was hot and fresh with a drizzle of sauce I wish they'd given me a cup of the sauce I really enjoyed it, the portion was huge for a side. The rib tips were barely warm some were even slightly cold but I didn't complain as I don't like to send food back because you never know if they'll do something to it. The mac and cheese was just okay and the green beans were good and seasoning was good on them as well. Overall it was just okay nothing that I would spread word of mouth about nor would I go back anytime soon. My colleagues told me about this place so I was eager to try it.
The pulled pork was amazing! Wish I would've gotten 2 sandwiches. The slab of ribs could've been better. The banana pudding had more bananas than I liked & was brown. Overall I'll go back for the sandwiches
