Dr. Hawksworth is truly the best of the best for kidney transplant surgery. Took great care of my daughter (donor) and my husband (recipient). My daughter came home the day after the kidney extraction and my husband followed her 2 days later. He and his staff were awesome. I am forever grateful for this life saving gift from my daughter to my husband. I am also forever grateful to Dr. Hawksworth and the Walter Reed Nephrology and urology Departments and those great nurses in ICU and 4 West. Dr. Hawksworth used the latest technology (robotics) to make this a very successful surgery and recovery for my loved ones.
