GREAT Atmosphere, VERY GOOD food, and the drinks were AWESOME!! A 20% gratuity was added to my bill though.... That always makes me feel like they think we are all CHEAP.....ulgh.... Also I had to go get my OWN SILVERWARE..... Annoying.....

We visited about 7pm on a Friday night after making a reservation. The exterior and interior of the building are stunning. The building was \blown up\ in one of the Transformers movies and photos of the scene on on the walls. The food is simple but tasty with a nice variety of appetizers and entrees. Service was attentive and friendly. Bite the bullet and pay 10 to park in the surface lot across the street to avoid the frustration of hunting for a free spot on the street, DETROIT IS BACK!

Downtown Louie’s Lounge is a upscale restaurant and the food was delicious! While the restaurant itself is new, the building has been around for over 100-years old. The ambiance is really nice with additional seating upstairs and a bar that fills up the left side of the restaurant.

American food and the setting at this spot is very good. I give this place two thumbs up. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back. It has an awesome feel to it. Food is similar to a cafe in Indianapolis I loved.

It was a perfect evening out and it started 2ith an outstanding dinner. My only complaint would be the French Onion, but only because it didn't stand out compared to everything else. Cuban egg rolls are a must have. Lamb Chops were perfectly cooked. Matt our waiter was buried with 2 large groups, yet was still able to provide a proper amount of attention to us. Will be going back.
