Free car park that won an award back in the 1990s for best design. Free of charge for visitors, it sports a minimalist information centre with bicycle fixing tools and a bike type pump. Toilets are available, including for disabled visitors, all built in the traditional stone style of the village. Handy parking for a variety of walks and bicycle rides set against beautiful scenery. Quintessential English destination for overseas and local visitors alike. A real gem in the Lancashire hills.

Great little car park, toilets on site as well
Closed die to covid-19. Toilets are closed too so there is no where for people to go to the toilet. Traffic parked everywhere else all over the roads due to this. Pathetic.
