First time I went here, and it was just AMAZING. The ladies was so nice and helpful to me. Ones you get inside on the shop you get really comfortable and you don’t feel to be on rush to choice the glasses, the ladies helps a lot to choices the glasses and forms and colors. Definitely I will always go back here 10000%. :)

A big thanks to Yasmine and her team for a super smooth, warm, friendly and professional experience. Downes has always been my optician of choice but I hadn't visited in quite some time. I'd endeavoured to purchase a new set of glasses online, but struggled to find a comfortable pair. I decided to book an appointment at Downes, but unbeknown to me Yasmine had since taken over. But what a lovely experience and I've left fully satisfied, with two new pairs of glasses that arrived promptly, and with the personal care and attention that I've always enjoyed and appreciated here. Came here to buy contact lenses and wear them for the first time. Yasmin was very patient with me while I was trying to put the lenses in my eyes. She was giving me tips on usage and maintenance of the lenses. I managed to successfully wear lenses and take them out under one hour! Also bought a pair of new glasses which I'm very happy with. Can totally recommend this place.

First time visited this opticians. Excellent customer service and glasses. The staff was very helpful. Good quality lenses. I use to waste money & time with big retailers but now I will only go to Downes Eyecare. I will recommend this opticians to everyone.

Healthy Living Healthy Lives have been very pleased to work in partnership with Downes Eyecare during the last 12 month. Despite, difficulties caused by COVID, they have accommodated our homeless clients safely. We are looking forward to working with them in the next 12 months and beyond.
