Gamebase is a well thought out combination of a social gaming centre and an independant videogame store. The premises is kept clean and organised by the friendly and knowledgable staff. The front of the establishment is the videogame store. Gamebase stocks new and second hand videogames and a selection of new and second hand videogame consoles. They also stock accessories and an assortment of gaming merchandise. Gamebase also accepts trade-ins and their trade-in values are notably fairer than other, nationwide videogame retailers. They also take pre-orders for new game releases. I recently pre-ordered and purchased my PlayStation 5 through Gamebase and I received my console, games and accessories as ordered on the day of release with no fuss. In the lead up to the launch, the staff kept me up to date with the status of my order via phone calls. In the back of Gamebase there is a wide array of different videogame consoles set up inside as singular stations, available for individuals or groups to sit and play a decent selection of videogames. These are pay-to-access and the rates are quite reasonable. Gamebase also offer party packages for groups - including food - making it a great option for a birthday party; even in socially distanced conditions. Gamebase is an independant but reliable company and they are the only store of their kind in South East Kent. Their business is worth your consideration.
Amazing customer service. You can tell the staff have a passion for what they do.
Been there three times now. My daughters party was brilliant, loads of games, fun and the VR. Upstairs has a soft play area too. Love it.
