My family has been a part of the Dover little league community for many years. Our oldest just aged out but will continue to play baseball for Dover high school. I agree changes do need to be made. That is why I am here. I was always that parent who was mad at the unorganized way things were handled. So this year myself and a few others have joined the board for dll to help bring organization back to the program to make it a fun learning experience for all children whether they are 4 or 16. Every child should have an amazing time while playing the sport we all love. Dover little league does not only have a baseball program but also softball. We want to restore our little league complex back to its Glory. It takes alot of time and alot of volunteers. Please give us a chance to exceed your expectations. If you have any issues please bring them up to a board member.

Just moved down here from new castle, I must say this is one of the worst leagues I have seen. New castle little league, suburban and MOT puts yall in the dirt! Thanks for making this the worse year of my son's baseball life, hoping for changes for next year if not my son wont be playing here anymore.

This is my 1st year very disappointed. I will not be back next year. We started the season out nicely but mid way through it has gone down hill. We started with 2 umpires now we are down to 1 & our last Saturday game we had none. The snack bar was not opened on that day as well. This Monday 6/4/2018 at the Major 6pm game a volunteer score board keeper argued with the umpire it was ridiculous and I spoke up she decided to tell me shut the hell up. Wow 1st your rude to the umpire and are arguing in front of the kids now your using language like that in front of kids. I can agree he wasn't the best but are we really going to argue with him let's just move on and now you can just get mad and cuss at everyone. I don't know who she is or why she felt she was ok to act that way but they need to get control of there volunteers. What's the old saying let players play let umpires call the game and everyone be respectful and have a good time. She is representing your organization your league you have to do better. Communication Class Funding Practices during the season etc. Lots to improve on but I wont be around to hope it changes.

Though communication breakdowns sometimes happen, I find DLL to have many good people working to develop young players and citizens. Ppl like Coach Daniels and tee ball coaches have treated my children well. Thank you DLL.
