Very picturesque setting - hence the three stars. Would have liked to have viewed, but not open as advertised. Suggest phoning first if you want a tour. Auberge opposite blaring high decibel europop so didn't visit.

Wonderful château and the guided tour by Irene was excellent. The furnishings and décor such attention to detail. Just amazing. Drinks at the Tavern afterwards in such a beautiful setting. We didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back.

Falling down, should be listed as a ruin. Very sad. The grounds and lawns are overgrown and messy. A shame, 2-3 years ago it looked fantastic but the gardener walked out as did the maintenance guy and the tour guides. Visit chateaux brie about 4km away instead!

Don't bother going unless you have pre-booked a guided tour with at least 4 people at 15 each. Today the website said it was open 2pm to 8pm. We wasted a 3 & half hour round trip & 200 km of diesel to find the gates padlocked at 3.15pm. Took a few photos from the road. The website is very midleading, as is pointed out on other reviews here. The owner should do something about it! Also, the Taverne restaurant opposite is closed until \Sprimg 2019\.
