Dough & Oil

I have dined in on numerous occasions prior to this review, all of which have been brilliant. There are always vegan and vegetarian options and the beers are interesting, particularly 'Steady Rolling Man' which is amazing. However, this review refers in particular to my first take-out experience. We ordered a couple of vegan pizzas to collect, along with bread and olives. We sent an email to ask if the super salad could be amended to vegan by removing the Feta cheese; which was very efficiently accommodated. Everything was absolutely delicious and even the leftover slices of pizza were still incredible the next day, unlike the usual cardboard like texture one expects.

Absolutely beautiful food, fantastic service. The restaurant was well set up for social distancing, hand sanitizer was available at every table. Food was served quickly. The menu features a good selection of pizzas, we had a gluten intolerant member in our party and she was able to enjoy the topping of her choice on a gluten free base for a small premium. Plenty of choice for vegetarians. Hot chocolate was delicious!! Will be back!!

Loved Dough and Oil for several reasons, the staff, the food and the interior. The staff greeted us guickly and warmly and even though it was lunch time and we didn't have an reservation they were able to seat us quickly. The staff were very informative about the menu and even able to help me decide on a pizza. ( Perfect choice by the way). To be honest I forget the name of the pizza I had ( chilli) but if I had the time I would have forced myself to have a second one. The interior wasn't over the top as with some places which we liked. My wife describes it as modern rustic. Overall Dough and Oil is a beautiful pleasant relaxing place to eat, beautiful food that is very reasonably-priced and finally great staff. Would highly recommend.

Great and unique pizza toppings and flavours, however our takeaway pizza was so thin in the middle part it was impossible to pick up a slice without all the toppings sliding off
