Great pizza and even greater service! The owner Jamie took great care of me and my order that got delayed by a 3rd party order. She was kind and helpful. She had a delivery driver who was on his way to my neighborhood deliver my pizza. They got ZERO profit on my order due to it being 3rd party which i felt awful about. The driver was here in 5 minutes and didn’t even want to accept my tip. He also had great customer service! I feel like when your employees are happy it’s usually a reflection of leadership so she must be doing something right. I didn’t realize she was the owner until I called back to ask who I could speak to in management to compliment her service and she mentioned she was the owner. Well... had to leave a review since most people only leave reviews when they’re upset. Love me some Double Dave’s! Eat local! Support local business! And don’t order 3rd party delivery!

My family and I are stranded here in Buda over the weekend, after our vehicle broke down and has been towed to the local shop for a warranty repair. We ordered the “Big Dave” size the Works pizza and some cheesy bread sticks. Firstly this pizza was huge! We didn’t realize when ordering that this was actually an extra large (no complaints from this guy though!!) morning pizza! The taste was phenomenal, nothing was cheaply overpowering! You can taste the meats, the sauce and the cheese separately. Not like hot mush with tangy sauce like most other places! Truly a great pizza. Hopefully we get back on the road tomorrow, but if we ever get back through, I know where we are stopping for lunch or dinner!!
I am so impressed with the level of customer service I received! I placed a large order to be delivered (by Door Dash) on Thanksgiving to feed my staff that was working the holiday. On Thanksgiving Day, about an hour before we were expecting lunch, I see an email from Door Dash saying the the order had been canceled because the restaurant was closed. I called to double check that information, and a very nice man picked up the phone (even though they were closed). I explained what had happened, and he insisted on making my order even though he was only there to make some food for his family for Thanksgiving. He was a life saver that day! Thank you Double Dave's for saving Thanksgiving!
Not only is this pizza beyond large and delicious! It is of the best standards that a pizzeria can offer. My wife and I wanted a pizza yesterday as we we bunkered down due to a passing snow storm, so we looked for some local, as we always love to support local and new businesses. So we checked the reviews and we found ourselves at Double Dave's. The reviews said it all!!! We ordered the Margarita pizza and it was here in a very timely fashion and their delivery driver was super nice and respctful!!! This place is definitely the place to get your pie! Look no further! Thank you Double Dave's amd we look forward to our continued business together!
