This place is incredible...coming from two very enthusiastic food lovers we seriously recommend you to try this if your looking for authentic soul feeding food. Sat here sipping masala tea after the meal and felt no option but to leave a review to hopefully encourage more people to have the same amazing food experience we just had. Enjoy!!!

A small but convenient place for Indian food. The dosas are large and tasty. The starters have variety. Parking is a bit of a challenge. Also sometimes it's difficult to get the attention and service is not up to the mark. The person was helpful but seemed to lack the enthusiasm. The food is alright and some of the dishes are quite tasty.
I am going here once every week with my wife and kid, has become a ritual from last 2 yrs. Food is very tasty, it's authentic south Indian with lot of options. You must try Gobi Manchurian once. Got addicted by now.Overall price is also reasonable. Staff are very friendly. Atmosphere is bit noisy which we like. Order takes a bit longer to serve in peak hours ( 7PM to 9 PM on weekends) but it's definitely worth waiting. Only down side I would say is they don't accept card payment, only cash which is inconvenient.
Overall not a very good experience. They have an online menu that has wrong prices. So pls watchout if you want to avoid their printed menu card for Covid safety, you are looking at wrong prices in their own website. Probably that is a strategy of theirs, i cant say. Anyway they arent very overpriced, so it should be ok for some, but i think it still doesnt justify publishing wrong/cheaper prices in the website. Toilets are not really clean. Avoid if you can. No sanitizers in the restaurant that the clients can/must use. We carried our own, so we didnt ask if they have. The not-very-friendly serving person doesnt instruct anyone to sit in safe distance. The diners can sit anywhere and the staff doesnt really care. i wonder they follow any covid standards at all. Food was just ok. Sambhar was too mild for my taste. No spice/heat at all, doesnt taste like Indian sambhar, probably more westernized for local customers, but then its not authentic sambhar. The restaurant furniture looks very run down and shabby. Plus there is no car parking space.
Omg....handsdown the BEST south indian restaurant in Birmingham...loved their idli, rawa dosa, butter masala dosa, and filter coffee!
