Went to Asahi on my birthday yesterday which was my 2nd option after Shabu Shabu .. since Shabu is closed on Monday decided to go to Asahi(first time in the restaurant always ordered home). This place surprised me they took real good care of us. They even gave a sparkler and an ice cream to the birthday boy(me ) The food was up-to the mark. Value for money. Unlimited rounds unlike Shabu (that’s amazing). Enjoyed all the Sushi’s.. Sushi lovers give this a try, you won’t be disappointed. Need to improve on the desert. The creme brûlée and the Panna cotta was ok needs improvement though would like to add my 3 year old son ate the panna cotta 2 times

Nice food, fast and friendly service. The menu range is also good here! Everything is done on a tablet so you can see what you're ordering which is handy. Love to hop around sushi places and as this is close to home, it will be a regular thing I see they get many home deliveries aswell which means it's a hit with other locals, always a good sign!
Sushi is one of my guilty pleasures. I usually go to traditional sushi restaurants, but also sometimes buffets. So I tried a lot of them, in different countries. I'm usually quite wary of online reviews, as buffet goers don't usually expect the same quality. However, this restaurant really went above and beyond. The service was excellent, quick and really nice - even though my Dutch was bad. The quality of all the ingredients is also great - the fish is fresh and delicious, all the vegetables were ripe. The meat was also great, and the soups tasty and filling. A great variety of choices of original and tasty dishes. All in all, would absolutely recommend.
Awesome place, food is brought to you very quickly, everything is super delicious and fresh, somethings you just want to order every round. Waiters are very polite and friendly and our hostess was also very cheery. The only minus point is that this place has limited desert option, they don't have that big area with unlimited deserts. But then again after you stuff yourself with all that heavenly delicious sushi you don't really care, I had mango ice cream and it was very delicious. Ordering system is brilliant.
Everything is really delicious and freshly made. I could eat in the Asahi every day. I highly recommend if you like Japanese Asian food.
