Just discovered The Range. Great place for household, pet supplies, decorating stuff at super prices. Social distancing well maintained, too. Will definitely be back soon.

There was a member staff on in the entrance of the store to remind me of the CoVid and the 2 metre rule. Products in the store are fairly cheap and quality isn't bad. Plenty of parking even if the car park could do with some TLC

The staff were very helpful in helping with a query we had, they solved it in no time. Quite a warm shop to go in, best leave your coat in the car. The amount of homeware they have is a fantastic selection. The art and crafts is always well stocked. The pet section for food, treats, toys is brilliant. I always like going to the lighting section to see what battery operated fun lights they have. They have almost a whole wall of cushions, something for everyone. Always plenty storage boxes. Black out curtains, good selection. Usually low on towels because of their great price. Wide selection off bedding. Quite tricky if your in a wheelchair because there is so much stuff packed everywhere. The decorating section for paints and wall paper is not bad but great value. Mirrors galore and some very fancy ones. Not sure about toilets but I believe it is ok but not sure if it is wheelchair accessible.

After spending over 30 minutes simply checking out at the range in Dorchester, I have been left unsure at to whether the staff working there are genuinely on the Payroll, or are part of some form of Work Experience provided by the Happy Foundation. We dealt with three different retail assistants, all of which had absolutely no clue how to work the till or deal with customers. They spent most of their time joking between each other, meanwhile the cue for the tills was backing up to almost the length of the building. The pinnacle of our disappointment was having to explain to a staff member simple mathematical sums you’d expect your 3 year old child to complete. He explained he was “too tired to work” and “not very good at maths”. It got to the stage where we were considering offering to complete the checkout ourselves, we have absolutely zero till experience but we’re confident we could pick it up quicker than this staff member was taking. After 4 attempts at paying we were finally on our way, we will NOT be using this store again. What an embarrassment!

Pretty good selection of all sorts, always a good offer to grab. A really nice large arts & crafts selection including brushes, colours, art paints, stencils, paper and paper art supplies, etc. Also lamps, homeware, really nice decoration like pictures and home accessories, pet supplies, kitchen & garden bits, table ware. Medium quality range, sometimes some favourite brands, but surely always a very good bargain to grab! Worth a visit!
