Visited 29th Sept for the first time and on the whole found a great little railway run by friendly volunteers. We all definitely enjoyed the visit made even better with it been fine & sunny. We also enjoyed our break in the cafe. We will return next season.
What a wee gem of a place this is! Steeped in history, with volunteers that love &take pride in what they do, informative! It's a pity the chap had to go as they were short staffed, I could have listened all day to the history of the placeThe ladies in the shop &cafe we're brilliant with our grand children&kind. The boys said they really enjoyed it and were surprised at how interesting it was (They moaned about going!) We would recommend you go&enjoy the experience.
Loved it. Fantastic that is run by volunteers. Could do with a few pic nic tables out side and possibly a train themed play park for the wee kids. Keep up the good work tho. I'd have liked a work shop tour as well. Potential is endless. Keep up the good work really enjoyed the day.
