Bluemotion is by far the best rental experience I have ever had in the past ten years of surfing. My brother and I rented two boards and a wetsuit for a whole weekend and were given a fair price. The owner is extremely kind and friendly, and was incredibly helpful with where to go to score good waves in Spain, Portugal, and France. Even when I returned with a dinged board, they swapped it out with another for me to surf and charged me a very fair price to have the damage fixed without any hassle or issues. I can't wait for my next surf trip to San Sebastian- I know exactly who to go to. I recommend this shop to anyone who wants to rent a board or learn to surf!

DO NOT USE. AVOID. Really looking forward to surfing for first time in San Sebastián. Until my board snapped in half. Waves were not big. It says on the T&Cs you are responsible for breaking the board. How on earth is that fair - I surfed for one hour in small waves. I took photos of the wood in the boards and it’s old. Appalling I should pay the entire 150 deposit when it’s their shoddy equipment. Really grumpy lady too who literally did not give one single ‘hoot’. DO NOT USE and avoid at all costs. Anywhere else there would be at least some meeting in the middle. Cheers for ruining a great day.
I rented a board for one day. It worked out really nicely because I was using the board during first day in the evening and the next day on the afternoon. Price was also very nice compares to many other in the area. Staff was really friendly and I was able to change the board during my rental.
We'd tried pretty much every surf shop in San Sebastian and these guys are by far the best! They are so friendly and helpful and had the most reasonable prices as well as a great selection of boards. I'd highly recommend this place!
Writing a review because my experience with Bluemotion Surf was outstandingly good. The people who work there and especially the owner are such nice people. Perfect location, would definitely recommend to others!
