Absolutely brilliant fish and chips shop. I used to frequent this eatery and we always had it on a Wednesday and aptly called it (fish and chips Wednesday) when I worked in Mexbrough 10 years ago.

Bit disappointed after reading all the other reviews. Fish was dry and probably a 're-fry' and the chips were mainly the ends of the potatoes. Crunchy and not really what we would class as a 'chip!' Had to lather ketchup on them to give it some taste. Expected more, but let down.
Favourite Chippy. So happy it's open again. Fish and chips always good. Been going there for 15 years now. Never had a bad meal.
Average chips bit pricey 50% when in bin a lot of sgrag ends and staff a little abrut need a bit of customer training but think it was a manager that I dealt with so probably just her manner
Friendly staff, best chips in the area, will come back
