My family and I have been registered to this surgery for many years and in comparison my previous surgery the standard is very poor. Typically, you have to ring for at least 50 times to get through and if you don't call before 8:30am you are unlikely to get an appointment. Despite asking to speak to a doctor, you are likely to get referred to a nurse who will subsequently refer you to the doctor. A nurse recently referred me to a doctor and I was advised I'd receive a call back. Having waited several days for said call, I rang the surgery to follow up on the enquiry and report new symptoms and was unfortunate enough to be greeted by two rude, disrespectful, condescending and abrupt receptionists. I spoke to Lisa and Lorraine who were both equally unkind and unwilling to refer me to a doctor. It seems as though whether or not you get an appointment is very arbitrary indeed.

I received a telephone appointment for my 6 week old daughter ,the doctor (Dr dejenko) was extremely rude and abrupt with me and wouldn't even acknowledge my little girls symptoms . I got straigh off the phone to ring the doctor's to complain ,I was told by reception that the manager would call me back (10 am ) by 12pm I still hadn't received a call so I rang back I was told by reception again that manager would call . By 2.30 pm still no call so rang again this time speaking to manager after hearing my complaint she said 'i can't login to system I will call you back in 5mins ' it's now 4.30 pm and guess what !? No call back ! My daughter hasn't received any care at only 6week old and my complaint hasn't been taken seriously .I am complaining to cqc

Unable to get an appointment .Took seventy five for the receptionist to answer the telephone. I am frontline worker and was attending to personal care with a service user when the practice nurse rung back and missed calls. I hardly contact the surgery or ask for help the receptionist said abruptly you didn't answer your telephone you will have to contact A and E. I have a good mind to contact CQC.
