Why are other banks open on Saturday but this one isn't. They say you can pay in cheques at the Post Office, but they don't give info on whether this will take longer to clear or not.

Shambles. Going through a Current Account switch to Co-Op. Was asked to bring in two forms of I.D to branch. A member of staff scanned our copies and said that they would be approved by the manager on Monday. Unfortunately, these were then misplaced meaning the whole switch failed to happen. Now the switch is in it's second attempt and instead of a switch, I now have a brand new account with nothing in it. If the I.D had just been handled correctly in the first place, I'd have the account I wanted by now. Doesn't really give off a good image for a new customer!
