I was looking to try for a new opticians when I passed this one Saturday afternoon. The ladies of the store have always welcomed warmly and have even supported while in and between 2 jobs. Their glasses have always been amazing including the annoying habit of my previous spectacles steaming up while riding my bike daily, whereas the four pairs I have purchased have never been an issue. So thank you Scrivens for the warm welcome, the continued friendly support and keeping me on the road.

Made a same day appointment for an eye test also had a free hearing test whilst i was there which showed some abnormality with my hearing so I was given a further appointment next week for a more indepth test to find the cause.The lady optician was very informative of all the tests she carried out & also very gentle when examining my eyes & when she had too lift my eyelids to drop some dye into my eyes .She was very thorough & reassuring & gave recommendations for products for an eye complaint that I have .Next came the choosing of some new glasses & sunglasses I was assisted by Leigh Ann who was extremely helpful & pleasant throughout & explained the different lenses available & a breakdown of the prices which I must admit I was dreading but I was pleasantly suprised .My two pairs of glasses will be ready within 10 days even sooner .I look forward to picking them up & will give another review on how that goes & my hearing test.
