Fantastic traditional market. One of the largest remaining in the UK. There are indoor and outdoor markets selling the usual market wares. There is a fish market, a wool market, newly redeveloped in the last couple of years to include bistro eateries and tapas bars. The markets also have many individual unique stalls dotted around. There are some beautiful craft and bohemian stalls on the upper floor of the indoor market. The ceiling and roof of this upper area is stunning and an important part of local history. Go see yourself, it's really is beautiful. There are frequently pop up second hand, car boot type selling stalls and other market events. There really is a unique atmosphere about Doncaster market that you just don't see these days anymore. I love to wander round listening to the calls and shouts of market traders selling their wares. Definitely worth a visit!

Love Donny Market especially the fish stall. The fruit and vegetable stalls are very reasonably priced, so much better than your supermarket chains. The people are very friendly and helpful.

Excellent area to shop, indoors or outdoors, I shop here most weeks for fruit, veg, fresh and cooked meat etc. The choice is fantastic and most traders are really friendly and you do find yourself returning as a regular customer quite easy. The price is pretty good too, especially given the high quality of fresh product you’re getting.
